'Blank ID Tag" can't convert, playback issue

When I hover the mouse over some of my mp3's, it would only list the following:
file, location, type (winamp media file), extension (.mp3), length (0:00), size (0kb), original size (0kb), and compression (blank). It doesn't display the other info such as the ID tag, stereo channels, bitrate, etc. I could click on these files individually and add them directly to Winamp and play them no problem, but when I include them in a playlist in Winamp and load up the list, it'll refuse to play it, as if the file doesn't exist. I couldn't convert these with db and audacity (db says it cannot be opened). What could the problem be?

    Thanks.

It does not sound like a dBpoweramp popup, our popup for R12 shows Type, Size, then Length. It will also say dBpoweamp on the last line.

It says dBpowerAMP on the last line. It's probably not a problem with the software, but does anyone know what could cause this? Maybe a bad rip?

        size (0kb)

The file is no bytes long, it is empty.

The thing is I could drag it directly to winamp or double click it to play it, so it can't be empty. But if I add it to a playlist and reload the playlist at a later time, Winamp won't play it.

Where did this file come from? What size does Windows say it is?

Came from a CD my friend gave me of burned songs. If I right click and go to properties, it detects the file size in the General and Summary tabs along with the actual duration, bitrate, channels, and sample rate. But under ID Tag dBpowerAMP doesn't list anything (artist, title, etc are all blank).
