    FLAC problem

I have R12 and R11.5 installed, and have downloaded the FLAC codec to both, but every time I right-click a FLAC file to convert it to another format, a window pops up telling me to download and install the codec. When I try to re-install the codec, the installer tells me that it's already there. Whats going on?

Did you install the r12 FLAC codec? I believe if you have both r12 and r11.5 installed, the shell options are linked to r12.

This is the link that the pop-up takes me to. I think it's the R12 version, but I've tried installing it to both the R12 and R11.5 directories to no avail.

Have you tried launching the Configuration program (dMC or dBpowerAMP) and check to see if it recognises FLAC as an installed codec?

Codec Central has only r12 codecs. Legacy Codec Central has the r11.5 codecs.
