Core Converter.exe

When I try to convert WMA to MP3 Lame I get "Core Converter exe has encountered a problem and needs to close". There is no problem when using Franhofer MP3.
Any thoughts?

I just found out by changing the frequency of the conversion it works just fine.

Did that, but have the same issue. However, by changing the frequency, it works fine, and I'm OK with the frequency change.
