and the bugs just keep on rolling

OK, thwarted by this problem: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=12404

I attempted to skip the offending file and convert the rest of the songs in the directory. Unfortunately R12 wasn't going to cooperate...

    Pls view this image:

You see in the file list window (top) I have selected files 02 - 15 for conversion. Right-clicking these files and selecting convert brought up the conversion settings window (normal) and when I clicked on convert, the window in the lower-left appeared - warning me that I was going to overwrite these files.

Unfortunately none of the files I selected should have overwritten the 01 file. And you'll also note that the program wanted to overwrite that one file, 14 times!

If this all wasn't so funny, I think I'd cry.

When I let the program overwrite the files and continue, it converted the file I DIDN'T HAVE SELECTED, two at a time - 14 times.

Killing that whole process, cleaning out the destination directory, and restarting the process again converted the 01 file (again not even selected0, two at a time - 14 times.

    Brilliant!

I have a ss if needed.

OK, I figured it out when I moved all but the "01" file to an new directory and tried again. The files all have the same title in the tag. Not sure how that happened, but it explains all of this behavior.

Sorry if I wasted any one's time.
