read only problem

dbpowerAmp is setting my folders to read only everytime it rips which is casing me real hassles. can this be disabled please?

Which folders? ones that dBpoweramp Creates? or existing folders?

it was the ones that dbpower map creates that i was thinking about. but i think i am taking nonsense. i had trouble copying files and i looked at the folder properties but the green square in winxp i have now found out means nothing. sorry.
