    Version 11 or 12?

Hi my name is John from the Netherlands and I have a problem to figure out wich version I have, I will explain what I have done :
    - I have downloaded and install version 12 from the download page
    - I have paid and installed CD writer fully loaded with the download link sent by email. I have installed this program in a different directory because the Compatibility problems with R12.

The problem is that both configuration screens (dBpoweramp & dMC) say that I have installed release 11 of dBpoweramp.
    dBpoweramp Music Converter
    Release 11
    Registration Status
mp3 License & Power Pack: Registered

Check the properties of shortcuts on the Start menu. Are they pointing to the same object? When you installed dCW Fully Loaded did it ask you where you wanted dMC to be installed?

You might be better off if you uninstall everything. Then start by initially reinstalling dCW Fully Loaded into the default location, followed by installing r12 into a different folder.

No the shortcuts are pointed to different objects, both programs asked me where I wanted to installed them, I will uninstall all and then install everything in the way you say.

If you want R12 and R11.5 then you have to install to a 2nd location without uninstalling the older version.

Okay have done this one configuration screen say R11 and the other R12 so that problem is solved.
Only R11 say that my powerpack & mp3 license is registered and R12 say i have a 30 days trial left. But I think that is a compatibility problem?

Did you install a registered version of both programs?

I thought that the purchase and install of "CD writer fully loaded", also upgrade Bpoweramp with "powerpack & mp3 license". :o
After installing "cd writer fully loaded" I see it's also included R11, so why must I pay and register R12 again? I just bought it today....

Your purchase of CD Writer does give you the PowerPack too, yes. However, I don't think you can use the Registered Download Retrieval to get a dMC r12 registered download. You probably need to send an e-mail to the address on this page: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/email.htm with your name, order number, and a request for a registered r12 download.

                        Installing both R11.5 and R12

I would like to have both R12-reference and R11.5 power pack installed simultaneously. I tried this by specifying a different directory for R11.5 (R12 already installed in the standard directory), but then the links in the "all programs" menu point only to R11.5 and there is no separate entry for R12.

How do I create shortcuts to both programs?

                        Thanks,
                        Randy

Just copy the shortcuts from dMC r11.5 and change their location to dMC r12 by right-clicking on them, going to properties, and changing the .exe they link to.
