Issue after upgradation to XP

Hi

I recently upgraded my PC from 98se to XP. Then I re-installed dbpowerAmp. Now, whenever i try to convert music or change bitrate, I get the normal interface but the conversion does no take place. Instead the operation gets aborted and I get a "Microsoft error report" message. Please help.

Did you install dMC as Administrator? What version of dMC are you using? Version numbers are in the Start menu under Programs --> dBpoweramp Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration
The latest version is dMC r12.

Did you reinstall the codecs for formats you need to read and write? For dMC r12, codecs are in Codec Central. For dMC r11.5, they are in Legacy Codec Central.
