Greetings new R12 user and I have a couple of questions. First I'm using R12 to rip to Apple Lossless to use in itunes. I've been using the ripper in itunes but have never been happy that it's not a secure ripper and that I'm maybe compromising sound quality. So I'm very happy that I found a soulution and can still use itunes as my music player (used with a Squeezebox) any way my problem is that when I load a cd in my drive ,I believe it's an LG ,it spins and the disc info doesn't show, I always have to either hit refresh or the retry button. The info then always pops right up. This isn't a big deal but is inconvenient. This leads to problem two which maybe related. Seems that on many discs the first track only has problems ripping I always seem to get a secure rip but with errors. At least I think so since I can't seem to find a legend that explains what the little symbols mean. The settings I'm using to rip are: Accurip verify, secure rip with 2 pass min and 6 max,and max speed to rip..Are there also optimum settings that I should use?? Thanks for any and all help.
