How do you install Codec for m4a?

I just paid for dBpowerAMP music converter and got the registered version of R12. I bought this version to convert m4a and disappointingly find that it doesn't work. I followed confusing instructions and got Nero codec, did everything the dBpowerAMP web page said and it didn't work (said not installed). I tried again this time followed more confusing instructions to this forum and downloaded m4a codec which said "For R12" but after installing it says "The codec installed is not compatible with the newer dBpoweeamp (R12 and above)". Is there a m4a codec for R12 that actually works??

No, that is the one that says its not compatible with R12 when you install it.
