    Mp3.dll Error

I have been using the dbpoweramp converter for a long time now with no errors until today. I have tried to convert mp3 to mp3 (Lame) and also mp3 to wav and the same error keeps coming up at about 80% into the conversion. The message is as follows:

MUSICCONVERTER caused an invalid page fault in
    module MP3.DLL at 0167:00ed6d63.

I have the following installed on my computer:
    dMC-r9.exe
    dBpowerAMP-codec-ogg.exe
    dBpowerAMP-codec-ra.exe
    dBpowerAMP-codec-wmav8.exe

    My Operating System is:
    Windows 98 version 2

So far this has happened to 8 files that I have. They are misc. rate kbps that I'm trying to get back to 128 kbps. I tried to convert them to wav as well with the same error message. Could this be from a corrupt mp3 that I'm trying to convert? This is a first for me and I was hoping someone might be able to clarify this a little bit more. Thank you in advance for any information.

I would say it is a corrupt mp3 you are trying to convert.
