    flac --> ALAC

    I have been trying to convert all my music from FLAC to ALAC but I run across 1 small problem. everyfile that is converted loses its ID TAG and the name is converted to ~dmcin
    The file names stay the same, only the IDtags are lost. anyone have any clues on what I am doing wrong.

    I have the box clicked "retain ID tags"

    please help

    Try R12 (of Music Converter) with the latest Flac and ALAC codecs?

        r12 refers to release 12 of dBpoweramp Music Converter.

            If you have purchased the PowerPack, see here about downloading a new registered install: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/registration/
            If you are using the free version, just download r12 from here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
            Before you install r12, however, you should uninstall dMC r11.5 and all codecs you have, UNLESS you have and use Sveta, dBpoweramp CD Writer, or Auxiliary Input. If you do not use any of these, you are fine uninstalling r11.5 and the codecs.
            Then install r12 and the new codecs from Codec Central.
