I am confused about converting to WMA files. How do you convert MP3 to WMA files that will work in Windows Media Player 9. It seems when I try to do it, I end with huge files.

Re: Converting MP3 files to WMA
Change your "Windows Media 9 Lossless" to "Windows Media 9". You should have a bitrate drop-down selection and buttons for CBR and VBR. These files will work on anything that plays WMA files, including portable devices.Comment

Re: Converting MP3 files to WMA
As far as another Sound Editor, I have Roxio 9 which will convert MP3 to WMA very simply ; although, you can't select multiple files. You just have good quality and low quality but I was trying to use dB PowerAmp. It seems when you select WMA in dB PowerAmp, you cannot select a Birate, in the same way as MP3. All you have to choose from is CBR, VBR and 2 pass. Codec and settings. How do you select the birate?Last edited by rayi23; February 10, 2007, 01:36 PM.Comment
