    Apple AAC Question

First off to Spoon and other developers.....

You have done it again!! Version 12 rocks!!! I already purchased a reference version.

My question is not critical as dBPoweramp does what I need. It reads my ALAC files and converts directly to other formats keeping the tag info. Awesome.

However, I do notice I cannot convert to Apple AAC (m4a) even though I installed the AAC beta. I can READ and convert from m4a but not convert to. Any ideas???

Also, I notice when I converted from ALAC to Fraunhofer MP3, the encoder on the newly created MP3 id3v2.3 tag shows iTunes 7.2. Is that because the original ALAC file was made with iTunes? I'd rather the encoder show as Fraunhofer 4.0 since technically the MP3 was encoded using Fraunhofer. Not a big deal but something to consider.

v12 is Great work Mr Spoon!
One question though- in v11 I used to use 2 codecs to get to a .aac file- first encode to .m4a using the Nero, then the m4a to aac codec... how is this done now?
      cheers!

If you'll read here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=12005 It says that ALAC encoding hasn't been written yet.

A mp4 / m4a to aac utility codec will be shortly. Just about to upload the Apple Lossess encoder.
