    Problem Installing DSPs (beta)

I have just upgraded to R12 Reference (registered), and, following instructions, the installation went without a hitch. Having used Replay Gain in v11.5, I'm very keen to try the dMC version, and here's where I have hit a snag.
I downloaded the beta zip file, placed it in the recommended C:\program files\illustrate\dBpoweramp folder and unzipped. Reboot.
Now, selecting a file to test Replay Gain, I get the converter window, and, in the appropriate 'options' panel, click on add DSP. When I do this, it doesn't insert the Replay Gain option, but takes me immediately to dMC downloads (from where I downloaded the zip file) and wants me to download it again! Around and around in circles - this happened 3 times before I decided to worry all you (much appreciated) volunteers.

    Thanks,

    Tony

Just to double-check, you have a "DSP" folder in your installed folder with the files in there, correct?

      Re: Problem Installing DSPs (beta)

What happened with me was that I had a DSP folder nested within my original DSP folder. Dragging the DSPs from the nested folder to the original DSP folder did the trick.

      Best wishes,
      Bill

        Re: Problem Installing DSPs (beta)

Thanks, Lt.Data and Bill (xoas) for your prompt replies. Yes, I have the DSP folder, Lt.Data. Bill, doing what you suggested didn't work for me - dragged the files across to the main DSP folder, but this resulted in another DSP sub-folder appearing further down the 'tree', and containing said DSPs. Tried loading DSP into the convert window, which took me back to the "Download DSPs" link in the Illustrate opening page.
I await your further thoughts, gentlemen!

        Tony

Browse until you find the DSP .dll files, select them all, select Edit >> Cut then browse back to \DSPs and paste.

Spoon, that did it! Thanks very much for your help - and thanks to Lt.Data and xoas, too.
