    missing pieces ??

I'm unable to select "Dynamic" Output Location when converting Flac to m4a. Consequently I stuck with all output files in one directory or in each source directory (neither is an attractive option for me).

I'm using R12 with new flac and m4a codecs.

Dynamic naming whilst converting is available for Reference only.

Why was this feature only put into the Reference version? 11.5 put destination files into subfolders by itself. Now after installing v12 I have to upgrade to a premium version just to get the same functionality?

I understand putting some of the new, advanced features in a premium version (like dual-core support), however, to take away such a basic feature like this is unreasonable to me.

You can still use [origpath]/[origfilename] to get the same as the old "Keep Path on Convert" even in free/PowerPack.

          Not without selecting Dynamic naming.

You still have the option 'Same folder as original', even through the batch converter. It was not a master plan to get everyone to upgrade to reference, rather the interaction of 'Kepp path when convert' and 'output to' were not intuitive, clunky.

I didn't want to convert to the same folder as the original files. I usually convert to a separate set of folders so that I can send the files to my portable player. Keeping the files in the original folder is messy, sending them to a separate folder but keeping the folder structure is what I wanted, and that's how the old version worked.

Not that it really matters now. You accomplished your goal.. I upgraded to Reference. Fortunately, your prices are reasonable and your product awesome, even though the only "Reference" feature I wanted was the dynamic naming.
