Compressing Wav Files
My Objective: Compress Wav files to 500KB's or less for uploading to a web page
I'm using Easy CD Creator 5.3 when burning from original CD's.
The original size of the cut was 11KB
I converted the tune to a wav which turns out to be anywhere between 3 and 5 KB's.
My Result: I used dbpowerAMP to compress the wav but I can only obtain a 50% compression ratio usning the 22bit function, ending up with a wav file of around 5 KB's, or (5MB's) and is still not small enough to upload.
How do I compress the wav to around 500KB or less?
