CD Ripper Rip as one track

I downloaded the new verstion (12) and can't find the option of ripping as one track that was available in the previous version. Do you know is that function available in this version. If yes, how to activate it. Thank you.

This option will re-appear in R13.

      Ok, I will wait.

Also there is another bug I noticed

I ripped the in separate tracks and then joined them together. Have to use some other software. Then I wanted to convert the whole file to a lower bitrate using dbpower amp but it converted only one part of the big file that used to be just the first track on that CD. Any ideas?

What software did you use to join them together?

How do I know what version I have? I had the older version and then just upgraded and now, I also, don't have the rip as one feature. I love that feature. I want it back...Can you help?
          Thanks

The "Rip as One" feature won't be back until r13.

I meant what software did you use to join them together?

As for what version of dMC you have, go to Start --> Programs --> dBpoweramp Music Converter --> Configuration --> dBpoweramp Configuration.

When will R13, or this feature be available? This should have been noted up front. it took me 30 min of searching to find this.

I use it a lot for audiobooks, and now have to do the extra step of joining tracks etc...

Also, there is no way to select the standard Lame presets like Alt-Preset etc anymore? :thumbdown

              thanks in advance.

Re: CD Ripper Rip as one track

LAME presets are now VBR settings. You can't select the presets, but if you are using VBR, when you move the slider the preset is shown along with the average bitrate.

What you CAN do is have both dMC r11.5 and dMC r12 installed, as noted here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/legacy-compatibility.htm

The program might not have combined the files properly. If you play the files in a media player, such as Windows Media Player, does it play the entire file or just the first "file"?
