R12 no Right-click in Vista + Dalet codec?

I installed the new R12 in a clean Vista Ultimate and I get pop-up information for WAV files in my desktop, but no right-click "convert to" option.

Also, where did the Dalet (snd) codec go? Can I install the old version to make it work with R12.

Dalet is a few weeks away for R12.

I found the reason: the WAV file has to be associated with Windows Media Player to get the "convert to" option on right click. If you change the default association (I had my WAV files associated by default with Adobe Audition) you loose the right click "convert to" option. Bummer. You can't have everything.

If you change program association, you have to put Convert To back by running dBpoweramp Configuration.

No, actually you loose that option for any file associated with any program other that WMP. Even if you uninstall/install dMc, only the files associated with dMC get the "convert to" option.
Maybe some registry tweak?

well, i have vista x64 and DO have wav's and mp3's associated with wmp11, but still no right click "convert to". Only Batch folder convert works.

When you run dbpoweramp configuration it asks to run as administrator?

So you are not running UAC (user access control)?
