Error converting Audio CD to mp3s :(

I have just downloaded and installed dBpowerAmp Version 10.1, the free version. But when I insert an audio CD (even if it's so old that it can't possibly be the copy protection), CDgrab doesn't even notice there's an audio cd. the music converter tries to convert the cda's but then has the error:

The file 'H:\Track01.cda' could not be opened.
Read Table of Contents failed - audio disc in drive?

Both CD and CD drive are fine, I can listen to the music without a problem.

    Please help :(?

Release 10.1 of dBpowerAMP is a very old version. Have you tried upgrading to the latest release (R12)?

Is that the correct drive? Did you click refresh? If that is not the right drive, go to the Options menu (click the button, not the arrow beside it) and change the drive.

thanks for your help, guys in the end i figured out that the program only works when i log in as an administrator, so now everything works just fine.
i don't want to upgrade because i think it's the last free version (?).

dBpowerAMP is still free, you just will be denied the power pack abilities after the 30 day trial has finished (mp3 encoding for example).
