    Multiple Problems

    Ooookay...

I've had dbpoweramp for a while and had no problems at all, but then my comp crashed and while I didn't lose the program, I've not been able to convert to mp3 since. I keep getting the old CODEC DECOMPRESSION ERROR gubbins.

So, after reading around here and seeing that other people had the same problem but that no-one seemed to get it fixed, I decided to re-install. Now when I try to rip to mp3 I get a DISC SCRATCHED error, for brand new discs.

    Anyone help?

Also, I *am* a registered user but I'm not sure I have my registration details anywhere anymore!!!

    cheers

    Re: Multiple Problems

    Try the procedure outlined here:
there are some anomalies that occur when uninstalling dbpoweramp parts. i just unisntalled using windows add/remove the following codecs, ogg, aac, mp4, wsp, voc. start-->programs-->dbpoweramp music converter-->configuration-->dmc configuration that does not match whats in my registry however this

(the FAQ on Uninstall Issues and Fix).

There is a sticky in the FAQ section should you need to try to download a new version of dMC and your prior registration is not recognized and you have no access to your registration information.

    Best wishes,
    Bill
