Is it possible to add new ID tag sections after recording to flac

I am recording all my classical music to flac and I find it a bit fustrating that there is no section for me to add the date a piece was composed. That is by far more important that CD date for me.

I have been adding it into the comments section but as half of my cds cant be recorded with dbpowerAMP I have used EAC instead and this has no comments section.

So how to add a new section in IDtag after all have been recorded. I tried to use foobar2000 but had to abandon as I cant see manage multiple tags ANTWHERE AT ALL (IT JUST DOES NOT EXIST) in my copy.

Install the dBpowerAMP R12 (from the beta section), in the ripper is a meta tab, add any fields you wish.

Thanks - I will await this release with bated breath...

But I have just "made do" with Editing the Tags in dbPower AMP. Problem is that it does not seem to change the real TAG info, cos when I imported to Foobar2000 it has not recognised my changes.

But when I changed in foobar2000, then reloaded in dbPower AMP, it does pick up the changes.

Not sure why...
