Is it possible to edit the list of genres?

I would like to delete many of the genres in the list when I am editing a tag for my files. I would also like to add other genres which I will be using frequently. I know that I can just type in the genre that I want but I would like to add it to the list instead of typing it all the time. Is there a way to do this?
