Problem with .aa to mp3 conversion

I successfully converted my .aa file to an mp3 format which plays on my computer using Windows Media Play 11. However, when I burn the MP3 file to a CD-R using ashampoo or nero 7, I can't get the file to play on my mp3 compliant CD player. How do I get a converted file to play in my CD player?

Are you using the right bitrate, sample rate, and channels for the player? Mabye it doesn't like the large file size?
