I have dmc v. 11.5. It's installed under wine on Fedora Core 5 Linux. I can't see .mp3 files in dmc, even though I can see all other audio files that I have codecs for that are in the same folder. If I try to type the name of the file into the box, I'm told that the file doesn't exist. I can encode files to .mp3, but when I try to open them with dmc, they "don't exist." Have I done something wrong or incorrectly? What can I do to get this to work?

Re: Problem under wine: can't see mp3s
I had the built-in codecs plus the .wma 9.1 and .m4a codecs installed. After I installed the .flac and .ogg codecs, I noticed I could see .mp3 files in dmc. I don't know whether I would have been able to see .wma files before I installed .flac and .ogg codecs, but I can't now.
I searched this forum to try to find an answer, but the only post that looked like it related, suggested that the problem could be fixed by upgrading to dmc 11.5, which I already have.
Does anyone have a solution?
