Multi-encoder - output to two separate folders?

If I want to use the multi-encoder to encode flac and mp3s and want the flac files to go into one folder (CDs) and the mp3 files to go into another folder (mp3s), is there any way to do that?

    Thanks,
    Alan

dMC r12 does this and is currently in beta, but dMC r11.5 (current release) does not.

Thanks. I see the link to it in your sig. When is it scheduled for release?

The plan is for a January release.

Thanks again. I just purchased the program/power pack last week. Does that entitle me to the new version when it's released?

It entitles you to the PowerPack version of dMC r12, yes.

I would assume that any 'multi-encoder' features will be part of 'reference' and not 'powerpack'.

the official detailed list of differences for final release has not been posted (unless I missed it)

A multi-encoder codec is different from the multi-processor feature in dMC Reference. However, the final word rests with Spoon, as always.

Re: Multi-encoder - output to two separate folders?

I installed dMC r12 but cannot figure out how to output to separate folders (or how to convert to two formats simultaneously). Do I have to download the multi-encoder for r11.5 and use that in r12? If so, how do I configure for separate folders for each converted format?

                  Thanks.

There is not a multi-encoder for dMC r12 yet. You can only do one codec at a time.

Bummer. :( Thanks. Looking forward to its release. Very nice looking software.

Just revisiting this now that R12 is released :smile2: Any idea when a multi-encoder will be available for R12? Will it be able to output different formats to different folders (my original thread question)?

                        Thanks.

Is there any update on the multi encoder?

It is a priority item, but DSP effects have a higher priority...
