I got some classes recorded in VOC format. I have a test version of the DBPowerAmp and I downloaded the VOC codec. I'm trying to convert VOC files, with 1 to 4 MB to MP3. No error messages is shown. Sometimes a little MP3 archieve is created, with 42 KB and no sound can be heard. Sometimes the conversion starts but the % counter stay in 0% and the proccess never end. The same problems occour when I try to convert to WAV format. Do you know what is happenig? Thank you.

Re: I failed decoding .VOC
Your problem is likely that dMC cannot read your .voc files Sveral programs/devices create files with a .voc extension and only some are read by dMC.
You can confirm this by trying a test conversion of one or more of these .voc files. This is done through the same process you followed when you were trying to convert to mp3 except that where you chose .mp3 as your output format, choose "Test Conversion (No Write)". This will very quickly tell you whether dMC can read?decode the .voc file or not. If it cannot, you may need to look for a program that can decode it. See, for example this thread:
How do i or can i convert audio files having a .voc extention into an audio file with an .mp3 or .wav extention so that i can burn it to a disc?
If the test conversion does work, try converting from .voc to .wave and then to .mp3.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Bill
