problems getting started

I have downloaded but cannot get the wma facilities working keep getting "the procedure entry point WMCcreateSyncReader could not be located in the dynamic link library WMVcore.dll"
I have tried suggestions in other threads to now avail , i still have the same

running windows XP

Have a look again on the WMA Codec download page, there are two downloads that need to be installed to give WMA 9 support.
