MP3 stopped working; I already paid for powerpack

    :(

I've been a powerpack owner for years, never had a problem. Just today I wanted to convert some WMA files to MP3 (I'm pretty sure I've done this before) and now I get a codec error:

The CODEC required to compress 'F:\somefilesname.mp3' could not be opened.
Error creating mp3 compressor, try different encoding frequency and bitrates.

I've tried changing the bitrates - no good. Could this somehow be related to Window's Media Player 11? I did that "upgrade" recently...

What are the specifications (bitrate, channels, frequency/sample rate) of the WMA file and your desired mp3 settings? You have the dMC WMA codec installed, correctly?

What is the F: drive? Is it a partition of your hard drive or is it a CD drive?

You cannot write to a cd drive directly and if you are converting a wma present on a cd and are using the option to save the output file to the same location as the input file, that will not work.
