Recording Won't Stop

I've just started using Auxilliary Input to record some old cassettes tapes. When I press the 'RECORD' button to stop recording the recording continues and I have to force quit dB!
Anybody know what's going on.

One click starts it, another click stops it.

Ccan it be you never started the first time so that when you finally clicked in fact it started?

Are you running any DSP effects? What output format did you pick?
