Re: Won't convert AA to MP3
A brief correction to an earlier post:
It is Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 that is not compatible with Audible Manager v.4 (not MediaPlayer11; I updated both at the same time). With IE7 installed, when you try to download any books from your library, you will end up with an error message advising that you have to "delete your temporary internet files." If you receive this error message you will have to update to Audible Manager v.5
As a reminder, if you find yourself in the position of having to switch back and forth between AudibleManger v.5 and v.4, DON'T FORGET to deactivate your players (both desktop and any/all portables) BEFORE you uninstall either version of AudibleManager (i.e., in BOTH directions, when you uninstall v.5 in order to transcode the AA files, and later when you uninstall v.4 so that you can install v.5 and download additional books from your library), AND don't forget (as I have done) that AudibleManager will automatically uninstall the version on your computer as part of the installation process of the version you are moving to (at least, when moving from v.4 to v.5).
