    Converting WMA to WAV

    Hello out there,

    I have the following problem:

When I try converting an 8 hour recording (506min & 23s) wma @64kbps, stereo 44.1kHz to .wav PCM 2 Channel, 16 bit 44.1kHz my .wav file gets chopped to about 1h & 40min. Wheres the rest?
It happens to all the other converters that I tried using.
    Converting to MP3 is OK.

Wave has a limit to 4GB or 2GB depending on program used (either 3 hours or 6 hours) what is the size of your wave file?

      100 minutes of uncompressed wav means 100 x 11MB/minute = 1100MB = about 1GB and change.

That doesn't agree with Spoon's statement.

But you may have hit some other limits.

      Using any DSP effects?

But you know there's no advantage in converting to a lossless format from a lossy format, unless you actually need the uncompressed wav to use in some other program.
