Hello,
I've purchased dBpowerAMP in order to be able to convert RAM files to mp3 or Wav formats.
The software is installed, I've also installed DirectShow, and also the Real Alternative filter for decoder. I've configured the DirectShow, and have run the DMC Configuration. All the .ram, .ra, and so on are listed in the Installed decoders.
When I go in explorer, I can see the .ram files, and they are correctly played when I double click on them.
However, if I run the converter, I only get this error message :
The CODEC required to decompress 'C:\Photo\Diaporamas\CountryStream.ram' could not be opened.
DirectShow filter for '.ram' not installed, or Audio File Corrupt.
And that remains same if I choose the "test" only option.
I don't understand where the problem is located... DirectShow filter is installed, and the file is not corrupted, as if it were, it could'nt be opened in Media player...
HAve I missed something or is there a problem with the DirectShow Filters and DMC ?
(the PC is running Win XP Pro SP2, and I'm administrator with all rights).
Thanks for the help
Pierre
