temp.flac could not be opened ??

I'm new to this. I've been converting wma lossless to FLAC with great success - until today. Now I get the following message: "The CODEC required to compress 'M:\Marisa Monte\Rose and Charcoal\01 Maria de Verdade.flac.TEMP.flac' could not be opened." What do I do?

an external hard drive. All the music is on it and it seems to be working fine.

How many files were you converting? When did the error happen: beginning, middle, end? If you convert the same files to your internal HDD, do you still get the error?
