No PopUp info in explorer for MP3 files.
Have used ver 11 for about a year on an XP-Home PC and whenever I hover the mouse pointer over an MP3 I get the wonderful PopUp Info display.
Just installed V-11, then V11.5 on an XP-Pro machine and nothing I do/did with either version shows the PopUp info.
I tried the "regsvr32 shmedia.dll" fix, no joy.
I turned off ZoneAlarm Pro, which can block some programs from starting
processes, no luck there.
All the right boxes are checked in dMC configuration [all of them].
If I slide the column to the right of the filename to the left to truncate a file name, hovering just expands the filename, normal windows function.
Right clicking on a filename gives me working "Convert To" and "Edit Tag" functionality.
By searching the forums, I see others have had this probloem but no definitive
fixes nor any "thank you, that fixed it" posts. I hope to be able to post such a reply.
