MP3 to WMA conversion produces 5 kb not working file.

When I convert MP3 files to WMA dBpowerAmp takes its usual time, says it is converting, but then produces only a 5 KB file which will not play, or at least it opens but is only 0 seconds long so it stops right away. It will do this for whole albums also.

Any idea how to fix this? What I need to do?

What are the specs of your mp3, such as bitrate, channels, frequency? Where did the file come from? What settings did you choose for WMA?

Might those be m3u files instead?
