    slow ripping speed

I just bought the registered version after using the free trial. My ripping speed when it was a trial were always above 30x (my drive is a Sony DRU-700A) now it will only rip at 5x.

Computer is a little old but it has dual 1.7 xeon processors and 1 gb of ram with scsi controllers and hard drives
    OS is XP pro

I have already tried what some of the other posts said to do. I did the nero drive speed...that didn't work. I checked IDE ATA controllers in device manager and it was already set to Ultra DMA mode 2.

In dBA under options/cd drive - cd communication set to scsi direct pass thru and command set MMC.

So what do I do to fix the problem?

Click Power Pack button and make sure Rip to Ram is checked.
