    Newbie Question

I am trying to convert the audio from an MPEG video to MP3 format. The video is almost 90 minutes long. When I use dMC to convert it to MP3 or WAV, it crams it into 60 minutes and it sounds like the chipmunks. Why is this happening? Thanks

Hi, you need to install the mp3PRO input adaptor.

I installed the mp3pro adaptor from codec central along with the power pack. I try to use that and I get this error message a few minutes into the process: Unable to run encoder 'D:\Program Files\THOMSON mp3PRO Audio Player\mp3PROplayer.exe' I'm not sure what to do next. Thanks.

When you right click on an mp3 >> Convert To >> mp3 (Lame)

Sounds like you are trying to encode to MP3Pro and you haven't installed the THOMSON mp3PRO Audio Player.

                  Could Be

Could be. Where do I download that from? I tried to download a plugin for winamp, but the installer doesn't work right. It asks for the folder winamp is in, and I then can't hit the next button to complete the install. I also have winamp3 which it may not recognize. I don't know. I'm kinda confused.

The Mp3Pro codec page gives you the necessary instructions see here http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mp3pro.htm
