    Musicconverter.exe now makes cpu 100%??

Hi, I have been ripping my entire cd collection and everything was going very fast (25-40x) for the first 200 cd's. Now when I try to rip one it goes very slow (3-5x) and task mgr says musicconverter.exe is using 100% of my cpu! I didn't install any software, hardly anything is running in the backround. This is really frustaing I have 600 more cd's to go! Any ideas as to what happened? I have XPsp2 1gb ram athlon64 3200+.

Check dMC Configuration to see if your 30-day PowerPack trial has expired. Also, see here to check your CD drive settings: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=4619

Okay I am definitely a registered powerpack user. So I went into my device mngr and primary ide channel says:
-Device 0 - transfer mode: DMA if available, Current transfer mode: Ultra Dma mode 5
-Device 1 - transfer mode: DMA if available, Current transfer mode: Not Applicable
SECOND IDE CHANNEL: Same as above EXCEPT device 0 says current transfer mode is PIO.

Does this shed any light? What should I do? Thanyou for your time!

Update back where I was before woohoo!! Windows apparently has a flaw that makes the cd drive Dma revert back to PIO and wont let you turn dma back on, usually after 5 or 6 really damaged disks are inserted. So I did the regedit cmd and then deleted MASTERIDDATAChecksum and rebooted and windows switched back to Dma mode. It's easier than the other way check it out here: http://winhlp.com/WxDMA.htm
