ASF > WAV with WMA v9 beta (NOISE EVERYWHERE!)

hi again.
i've downloaded the WMA v9 beta, but when doing ASF > WAV, i only get a converted file full of digital noise.
please, help me on this.

I have the same problem: a bunch of .asf that are played perferctly by WMP6.4 or winamp but with a lot of noise by WMP7.* (or when converted). I decided to keep them .asf. After all, it's M$ !
