ID Tags and again DB version r12

    1. I would like to know when converting an AAC aka/ .m4a file to mp3 format, why it does not retain the 'publisher' and 'composer' tage in the id3.

    2. Also when converting audio files (mp3,wma,m4a) with embedded album art - why does not the current dbPoweramp retain these too in the newly converted file.

    3. ANY DATES AS YET ON DBPOWERAMP version 12.

sorry for the multiple question but just got back from holdiay and have got back into the love of my laptop and working with audio files again. Help would be much apreciated on all three questions. Thanks

If your using dMC r11.5, 1 and 2 aren't supported.

dMC r12 is currently in alpha and I believe the release is planned for the end of this year or early next year.

OK - Thanks for the timing of r12.

What about the id tags situation and the preservation of the album art, publisher, composer that I see in some of my mp3s and .m4a when I convert audio with this meta information it is lost, why? And will this be improved upon, Thanks

R12 fixes those (mp4 is not implemented just yet)

All but album art, not in the m4a codec.
