Want to speed up ram to mp3 conversion

The conversion works great, but takes forever. Task manager shows 2% of the cpu at max, and almost no memory being used, I've got 2g of memory and recently defraged my hard drive. tried all the priorities and makes no difference. Anyone? I've got 700+ files to convert, but it takes 30 minutes for one half hour audio on mono at 8k.

Are you using the old real-time Real Audio decoder, or the new higher-speed Direct Show Decoder method?
