db music converter use to show as an option

I recently installed a sony dvd+/- r in place of my old samsung one. I also have downloaded a copyright song from walmart.com with the attending license. I don't know if these two are now contributing to my problem. I use to be able to point to any of my music files or choose a groop of my music files, right click on the mouse, and one of the possible 'selections" was to convert using the db power amp music converter. I loved this feature. Now when i right click, I have options i always had like copy, etc. but not to be able to convert to wave, mp3,etc. Is there someway I can get this feature back like it use to be.

dMC cannot decode your encrypted WMA files. See here for more information: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthre...newpost&t=7422

      To LTDATA,
I was misunderstood. I was not trying to convert a wma encrypted file. I was talking about all my other music files like mp3 and wave. I transfered a bunch of these to my other computer and i was able to point to them and right click and i had the option to convert to a different mp3 bitrate which i did. I'm beginning to think the program i had to install along with the sony dvd+/-r has something to do with blocking the convert option from showing up when i point to a file or group of files and right click for select options. Also when i right click on a music file and click properties i no longer get the idtag to change info. I just get "general" and "summary".

If you are talking about files that reside on your local hard drive and not on a network drive, then you might want to check your options in dMC Configuration. Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration

If the options you want are already checked, uncheck them, reboot, recheck them, reboot again, and see if it works now.
