    music convertor question

Hello-I'm new to dbpoweramp,I bought it so I can convert my Apple Lossless AAC music files ripped from my cd collection to Flac.
When I right click on the music file I want to convert the dbpoweramp convert does appear, but my Easy Cd-DA extractor does appear when I right click. Cd-da extractor won't convert apple lossless to another codec. How do I get dbpoweramp to appear when I right click on a music file in Windows XP?

    Many thanks,
    Robert

    Re: music convertor question

First, you have to install the Apple Lossless codec from Codec Central. Please read the help file to download the Nero encoder .exe also. Also install the FLAC codec, again from Codec Central.

Then, if the right-click option still does not appear, double-check your dMC Configuration to make sure you have the option enabled. (Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration). Click "dBpowerAMP Settings" and make sure "Convert To" is checked. Click "next" then "finish" then "OK". Now reboot your computer and see if it shows up.

If "Convert To" is already checked, uncheck it, reboot, check it, and reboot again. Does it show up now?
