    Id Tags

    When I add my music from my pc to the IPOD, I lost a lot of the ID Tags of the songs and artist, what kind of tag I need to use ??

    What audio format are you using? mp3, m4a?

      In my computer I´m using mp3, and the ipod m4a

          I do my own play list, in my pc file, select all, and in the ipod, open the file to add the music, and paste.

            [SIZE=2]I'm no techy expert like DA SPOON here who is key developer, but I think what I have quoted above as you doing is the problem. I use to do the same and add copy to one of my pod's hidden folders because I got very tired of Itunes and very tired of Winamp's ml donkey plugin - and having to load tunes to my ipod mini with music managing software. I think that's why all the id3 tags may be just disapearing, I copy and paste all my mp3 files to my ipod as easy as anything through Windows Explorer. You have to use this program called Xplay see: http://www.mediafour.com/products/xplay/default.asp

            great program and you can use MAc formatted ipod on Windows. Even gives my own pod a little ipod depending on the ipod type. Hope this all helped.[/SIZE] :D
