RA Converter

Hi,

I'm trying to convert some real audio files to mp3 and I'm having a few issues...

I've installed the Real Player Alternative, DBPowerAmp, and the directshow codec and I've altered the text file with .ra, .ram etc. Then ran the configuration tool.

When I attempt to convert the file, I can select it but when I select the format and hit convert I get the following error:

The CODEC required to decompress 'C:\myfile.ra' could not be opened.
Unable to insert SampleGrabber.

Can anyone point out where I have gone wrong?

Very very sorry!

I failed to read the entire sticky thread on the problem. I read the first two pages but somehow missed the third (which of course had the solution!).

Re-registering the files resolved the problem!

Once again, sorry for not reading the sticky thread...but thanks for being told so politely to do so!
