Convert mp3 to mono only?

No matter what option will I choose during convertion MP3 - MP3 dMC makes the converted file mono. Is that normal when using 'MP3 (lame).dll codec (ver.6.4.0.0)?

What are the specifications of your source file? Channels, file type, frequency, etc. Did you specify Stereo/Joint Stereo for the mp3 file?

I tried many different mp3s with different specifications and the result was always the same. I tried Stereo/Joint Stereo and also As source but no change...

Try converting your mp3 to wave, and see how many channels come out.

Mp3 > Wave - stereo. Wave > Mp3 - mono. But In Advanced Options I Changed the quality from Normal to High and he converted 3 mp3s in stereo. Maybe that was it?

If youhave ever used the Advanced options for the mp3 encoder, these presets override any settings on the front panel.

In order to pick your own settings go back to Avanced Options and use No Preset. Or find a preset that meets your requirements.
