Dmc detected as Virus by Avast

I have been getting these warnings from avast antivirus when i click on the dbpoweramp music converter codecs downloaded from codec central, it says they are viruses and prompts to delete, i have been ignoring these warnings because i thought they must be wrong but I just wanted to check.

Does this happen to anyone else or does it happen to anyone else using avast?

It happens more with the ogg codec for some reason.

im talking about the actual installer files which are detected as viruses.

Oops sorry, I should have done a search first.

I didnt think it was a real virus, but it is a bit annoying it keeps coming up.

There may be a way to set avast to ignore the problem but i think its just a problem with the older ogg codec so its not happening with the latest version. so its all ok now.
