DMC & writer only bunr a diusc that hisses

Your help appreciated. I installed DMC, dbpoweramp player, writer and powerpack into a new xp pc and all i get from ripped files are hissing.

Please send apoose or better yet some guidance.

What format are you ripping your files to? What are the settings for that format? Do you know if your CD is copy-protected?
