APE2 tag - I cleaned all - but dCM still sees it

    Hi there!

I'm currently using Mp3 Tag Tools to untag and retag my files.
I always delete ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags and I use the "remove all non ID3 tags" function to be sure everything gets cleaned perfectly.

But I still have one Mp3 that has to be APE2 tagged, because dMC pop-up info shows it ("APE2").

How do I remove this tag? It's quite annoying, Mp3 Tag Tools shows the file as correctly ID3v2.3 tagged, but the APE2 is still there.

    thanks

If you have the power pack dbpoweramp can remove the ape2 tag correctly.

Via the remove tag DSP effect, I believe

Better with the Tag updater utility codec.

Thanks! I'll take a look at that later.
