missing the first few seconds of a converted file

Hello, Purchased to registered version (11.5), I'm trying to convert mp2 audio files to wave or mp3. When I convert the mp2, the converted wave or mp3 file is missing the first couple of seconds of audio. The file begins playing two or three seconds into the audio clip.

    Thanks for the help.

Make sure no DSP effects are being used.

Hi and thank you, when you said make sure no DSP effects are being used, are you referring to the source file (in my case the mp2)?

No, I mean using DSP effects during conversion. If you look at the converter window you have a button fo fDSP effect. Click it and see what if anyhting is already beeing used. If any effects are active clear them and start the conversion again.

Hi, no DSP effects were selected or added, still losing first couple of seconds of audio from my mp2 file. Thank You

What are the specs of that mp2 file? and what did you select for the mp3 file?

            bitrate, frquency, channels

(I have no idea what mp2 is reported as though, don't think I've ever run into one of those :o )
